Due to my recent appearance on The Vanessa Show where I discussed the topic of “Do Men Have It Easy?”, I thought I’d list just a few reasons as to why men in fact do have it easy compared to women.
1) Women Have More Fat Cells In The Thigh Area – Causing Cellulite
When I pull on a pair of shorts, before I head out the door, I analyse my legs in case the shorts are just too short – I don’t want any lumps or bumps showing. A man however, just throws on a pair of shorts with no concern of how his legs will look when he plumps oneself on a chair – if the female thigh leans against a seat too much it can end up looking like the indentations on a golf ball.

2) Men Don’t Have To Remove Body/Facial Hair
Men can let all their hair hang out if they want to – but women? We are supposed to be fuzz-free 24/7. Remember Julia Roberts at a premiere a few years ago when she waved and revealed underarm-hair? The media whipped themselves up into a frenzy and reported it like there had been a terrorist attack.

3) Women Have To Give Up Alcohol For 9 Months
Yes, pregnancy. Now I’m no alcoholic but let’s face it, I am Scottish. 9 months?! Are you kidding me?! In fact it could be longer if you breast-feed. This fact seriously makes me consider going down the adoption route.

4) Turning Up In The Same Outfit At A Wedding/Event
When I spot a pretty dress in a high street store for say, a wedding, just as I am about to try it on, I pause, look at how many of the same dress there are on the rack (hundreds) and then I multiply this by how many stores this chain has around the UK. It then occurs to me that I may not be the only guest that is choosing this dress to wear. I then immediately put the dress back. Men don’t ever have this worry, they are all expected to look the same in their suits and tuxes anyway.

5) Tick-Tock… It’s The Body Clock
Women are on a mission to find their Prince Charming before the age of 35 as that is when we are told our fertility starts to tail off. A man, on the other hand, can go forth and multiply for many more years, even in their 80′s and 90′s! So no pressure on them then to find “the one”.

Well, that’s just 5 reasons why men have it easier than women. I haven’t even listed some of the really obvious ones like giving birth! However, if there are any men out there that disagree and think that men have it tougher, then please list 5 reasons and we can compare!! Good luck!
